Opinion Essay/Connectors
Yesterday we were talking about opinion essays, giving our opinion about some specific topics, and we've seen the differences between the different kinds of connectors. Remember that you'll need to download this mindmap in order to work on your essay for the following day.
Things that you need to keep in mind when writing an opinion essay:
- Always give your opinion, you need to convince your reader that your point of view is the correct one
- Write a DRAFT. Remember that bubbling is an effective method for you to organize your ideas. Your selectividad exam will require you to write an organized and effective essay.
- When drafting, you don't need to write the whole paragraph, just the main ideas summarized in a few words. It is also effective to add some connectors from the corresponding category.
- Now it's time to write your final version: focus on the ideas you'll need to write, and... KISS!!! (Keep It Simple, Stupid!)
